Moogie Wonderland arts collective and local film critic, Nick Walker [who also runs The Other Cinema at Odeon and Screen Classics at The Central Theatre)] have collaborated on a new project called Film Cafe Society at The Deaf Cat Cafe on Rochester High Street – a FREE monthly film screening for cineastes, showing great underground and avante-garde classics, with a post-film discussion over coffee and cake. Each film has been selected by Nick Walker to coincide with themes set by Moogie Wonderland. This first screening, THE THREEPENNY OPERA, has been chosen for the theme ‘Booths’.
