POSTPONED DUE TO COVID // FREE EVENT: MAKE MUSIC TO GRAPHIC SCORES FOR OUR MUSIC FOR A BETTER WORLD PROJECT // SUN 22 AUG (4pm-7pm), CORNISH BANK, FALMOUTH

Unfortunately, due to a number of our team being impacted by COVID in the last 24 hours, we have had to postpone this event. Details of a new date will be announced shortly.

Come to our all-ages concert and you could have a go on our specially designed ‘noise stations’ as part of our Music for a Better World project. This will be the premiere of new compositions by a neurodiverse group of five emerging Cornish composers. The composers Kate Perry, Eddie Callis, Rory Bray Harper, Oliver Goulding and Kyle Coleman have created ‘graphic scores’ which will provide visual clues for you to perform music to. Our noise stations have been specially designed so that you don’t have to worry about going out of time or out of tune.

The event will take place at The Cornish Bank in Falmouth on Sunday 22nd August from 4pm to 7pm. Entry is free. Arrive early to sign up for a go on a noise station (recommended age: 9+). Entry is free, and priority for the noise stations will be given to children.

This project has been funding by Arts Council England thanks to National Lottery players, and has also received support from the BBC Radiophonic Orchestra.
