Booking & cancellations
Booking
Places are confirmed once payment has been received.
Because sessions run in small groups or one-to-one, places are limited and held specifically for each learner. We recommend getting in touch before booking if you’d like to check availability or suitability.
Session length and timing
Sessions run for a fixed duration. If a learner arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended, as this would affect other sessions running that day.
Cancellations and missed sessions
We understand that illness or unexpected situations can arise.
• Missed sessions can’t usually be rescheduled.
• Where possible, we’ll aim to be flexible in cases of illness or exceptional circumstances, but this can’t be guaranteed.
• For block bookings, missed sessions are not normally refundable.
If you know in advance that a session will be missed, please let us know as soon as you can.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic, as places are limited and prepared for in advance.
That said, we aim to be fair and reasonable. If something unexpected comes up, please get in touch and we’ll discuss the situation on a case-by-case basis.
Safeguarding and permissions
For teenage learners, a safeguarding and permissions form must be completed before the first session. This covers consent, medical information and emergency contact details.
Safeguarding information is collected separately from payment and handled in line with our safeguarding procedures.
Equipment and headphones
All instruments are provided.
Sessions use headphones. Learners are asked to bring wired headphones if they have them. If this isn’t possible, please get in touch in advance so we can discuss options.
